Grand Slam Qualification List 2025/26
A list of those qualified for a Grand Slam medal is now available.
Those who completed all events at 21.1km get the BLUE ribbon, others get the YELLOW ribbon.
Ensure your name is there because if you are not on the list, you will be going home empty handed.

Each event in the AHMS offers a beautiful and individual finisher medal, building up to the Grand Slam medal for finishing all five.
You must collect your Grand Slam medal at the Waterfront Half Marathon - look for the yellow collection tent when you finish.

Grand Slam Qualification Rules
Finish All Four Lead-up Events That Season
Record a finish time (at any distance) at each of Devonport, Omaha, Coatesville & Maraetai Half Marathons in the same season as Waterfront.
Only One Virtual Finish Permitted
You are allowed to include a single virtual finish from one of Devonport, Omaha, Coatesville or Mareatai events (not Waterfront).
Check Your Name is on the Qualification List
A full list of all those eligible for the Grand Slam medal will be published here during Waterfront Half Marathon race week. Check you are on it!
Finish Waterfront Half Marathon In Person
You *must* record a finish (at any distance) at the Waterfront Half Marathon in person (not virtual) to qualify and you must collect your GS medal there.
