Introducing AHMS
The Auckland Half Marathon Series (AHMS for short) brings together the five premier half marathon events in Tamaki Makaurau into a single, season-long challenge. Points are awarded to all finishers in each race and accumulate towards the Grand Finale on the Auckland waterfront in April. No matter what distance you run or walk -and no matter where you place - you'll earn points towards the final series standings and let you compare how you did against your peers, or versus previous seasons.
The ultimate commitment demands the ultimate reward. For those who complete all five series events - at any distance - the Grand Slam medal is the mark of a season-long goal accomplished. The medal will be unique, hefty and supremely collectable. As a further incentive to our most dedicated participants, those who complete all five series events in-person at the half marathon distance will receive their medal with a distinctive colour flourish.
